Morzine

Morzine sits within one of the largest ski areas in the world, the Portes du Soleil in France. Covering 14 ski resorts and 650km of runs, this makes Morzine a perfect launching point for discovering the entire circuit. As it is quite low lying, the immediate area tends to cater more for beginners however advanced skiers also enjoy Morzine for its economic accommodation and easy access to the Avoriaz ski area. An array of activities can be found in Morzine ranging from snowshoeing to kite skiing to adventure parks and visiting the slate mines. The nightlife is fairly low key owing to the mainly chalet focused package holidays.
