Kaprun

Kaprun is an alpine ski village located in the Europa Sport Region of Austria, just over 45 minutes from Salzberg airport. Owing to its mountain glacier, Kaprun offers skiing through the summer months which complements its 50km of local slopes and snowboard parks in the winter. There is plenty to keep you entertained in Kaprun with ice skating, bowling, a sports centre and tennis just some of the options. The nightlife is not as intense as some of the other larger Austrian resorts but there are enough pubs and bars to keep you entertained. Hiking and golf is also quite popular in the summer.
